Bless you black man By Shannah Trailor
Bless you black man Here’s what I’ve discovered You are the greatest Unlike any other I’d never waist my time Trying to find something better I’d rather spend a life time Trying to fuse use together Spiritually you exist Physically you create bliss Mentally I am challenged Emotionally I am balanced You inhale my light And radiate it double You flash that smile It gets me in trouble Bless you black man You’re not for sale If it was Christmas time I’d want you times twelve Bless you black man I feel the power It overshadows The Sears Tower It’s greater than the Sphinx You sweat playing ball I want to be your towel You have a conference call For you I’ll dial Give your speech |

Missing You
By Tanisha Samuel
Your heart beats at one with mine, Every time it stops for that slight second, mine stops too, Then they beat again keeping in time with one another, When I’m away from you I feel cold and long for your warm touch I feel empty and long for your love to fill me up I feel lost and need you by my side To keep me going in the right direction I long to be wrapped in your arms Held tight and to fall asleep with you by my side at night These are the things I crave When I stand there staring at you grave Here is where you lie When I first lost you I wanted to die But for your children I carried on Because I see you when I look at our daughter n son
