Always be grateful

By Shavon T. Magee, MBA

In the process of building wealth, we sometimes fail to realize what we already have. So many times we see other people who have blessings that we want and begin to wish for what they have. Little do we know what that person went through in order to get the things they have. You don’t know the sacrifices they had to make and maybe you’re not willing to make such sacrifice, or to struggle at all.* Be careful not ask for what other people have, but be grateful for what you do have.

Always be grateful for what you have. Never take life and things for granted because things can change in the twinkle of an eye. When you fail to be grateful you lose site of what is important. You are never satisfied with life and you limit your blessings. Why should get more when you don’t appreciate what you have? Besides you never know who wants what you have.

Being grateful is not necessarily a key to building wealth but it’s the key to being satisfied with life and truly enjoying the wealth that you worked so hard for.

*Note: If you are not to willing to sacrifice, you are not willing to build wealth.
