Key to Building Wealth: Envision Your Dream

By Shavon T. Magee, MBA

In the last article I wrote on capturing your dream. If you have a dream, write it down and make way for it. This time we will try to plan for our dream. Beginning with the scenario from the last article, you want to become a good cook or a world class chef. Begin to do research on how to become a chef. What training is required? How long are the courses? After training, find a job. How should you work at a restaurant before starting your own? Now you have decided to venture out on your own? What type of cuisine will you serve? In what area of the city will your restaurant be located? There are so many questions, therefore take sometime to think your dream over.

Everyone has a dream. But it takes time, planning, and research to see that dream come to fruition. This article was just to show that sometimes it takes digging and more digging to come up with a viable plan for your dream. Remember that your plan is set in time, so there is a great possibility that you will have to go back and adjust your plan to fit the current environment.
