Black News Our Way serves to seek out and distribute
high quality news to an audience that is often
overlooked. The team that makes up Black News Our
Way prides itself on collectively assembling a venue
to inform as well as entertain our audience. By
providing a forum that allows creativity,
expressions, and purpose, Black News Our Way is
committed to keeping a civic responsibility to the
African American community. We seek to offer a
unique opportunity to interact with readers that
understand the place for a black online newspaper of
our caliber. In an age where black news is often
disregarded and not covered, we chose to be one of
the only online newspapers to offer the Baton Rouge
area news exclusively for African Americans. Black
News Our Way strives to retain a high level of
accuracy and integrity that readers regardless of
race or creed can appreciate. We hope that our
